UniVicoustic Launches as New Global Acoustic
Brand Following Strategic Industry Merger

A major consolidation in the global acoustics industry has taken shape with the launch of UniVicoustic, a newly formed international acoustic brand created through the partnership of Vicoustic and United Acoustic Private Limited, part of United Group.

The joint venture brings together advanced acoustic research, product design, and patented technology with large-scale, vertically integrated manufacturing infrastructure across Europe and Asia. The collaboration was officially unveiled to the global professional audio and architectural design community at ISE Barcelona 2026.

As part of the transaction, United Acoustic Private Limited has become an investor in Vicoustic, strengthening long-term strategic alignment between the two organisations. The combined entity will operate production and office facilities in Porto and across multiple international locations, employing more than 300 professionals within a manufacturing footprint of approximately 18,000 square metres.

The partnership builds on an existing collaboration that began with the licensing of Vicoustic’s patented VMT material technology in 2023. Since then, large-scale production capabilities and integrated manufacturing systems have been established, enabling full control over sustainable material processing, quality assurance, and globally certified acoustic performance.

With the launch of UniVicoustic, both legacy brands will transition into a single unified global identity, consolidating their complete acoustic portfolios under one brand. The integration will be implemented through a phased rollout across 2026, ensuring continuity for clients, partners, and the international design community.

The newly formed organisation aims to position itself among the leading global players in the acoustic solutions sector, combining product innovation, industrial scale, and technical expertise. Its portfolio is expected to span a broad spectrum of applications — from large performance venues and commercial environments to design-led architectural projects.

Alongside expansion and consolidation, sustainability remains a central focus of the unified brand, with continued emphasis on material responsibility and environmentally conscious acoustic performance across global markets.
